Catch the Spirit! A Holiday Benefit Concert for Ukraine
Live stream
Join us for Catch the Spirit!, a holiday classical concert to benefit the Ukraine Medical Relief Fund, on Saturday, December 3rd from 7-9 p.m. in the Curtis Performance Center at Allendale Columbia School.

This concert will feature classical musicians Katha Zinn, violinist, and her husband, Illya Filshtinskiy, pianist. Katha is an AC alumna, and Illya was born in the Ukraine and arrived in the U.S. at age 13. Katha and Illya, both Juilliard School graduates, host a popular YouTube channel, aTonalHits, featuring classical performances by themselves, as well as other accomplished musicians. Katha and Ilya recently relocated from NYC to Rochester to perform and teach. AC’s choruses and eighth graders will also perform the popular Ukrainian-composed Carol of the Bells.

Tickets are FREE and the event is open to the public, however donations are encouraged. All money raised will be given directly to the Ukrainian Medical Relief Fund, a local charity that provides medical care to children injured by the war in Ukraine.
